SREENIVASAN. R
Sreenivasan. R is a steel plant engineer and expert hailing from Kochi, Kerala, who has 25 years of experience in Steel Plant Implementation and Maintenance.
Graduated in Electrical Engineering with Honors from Government College of Engineering, Trichur, Calicut University in the year 1979, he was trained in Steel Plant Maintenance in Azovstal Steel Works, of erstwhile USSR in 1985 and in Nippon Steelworks in Japan in the year 1995.
Presenting a paper on MES in an international Seminar at Prague, Czech Republic, he has also undergone Siemens and Rockwell PLC training at Mumbai and Delhi respectively.
Gaining expertise in Thyristor drives and Digital Drives both AC/DC, and additional experience of IT projects like ERP, UCS, and MES, he had retired as GM(C&IT) SAIL, Bhilai Steel Plant in the year 2016.
Involved in the commissioning of 3600mm Plate Mill, Converter Shop, Continuous Casting Shop, Secondary refining Units VAD, RH, and LF, he has carried out many modifications for improving the performance of the main Equipment of BOF, CCS, and VAD Arcing System.
Promoted as DGM in the year 2004, he was selected for the implementation of Uniform Codification System (UCS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) through a selection procedure carried out by IBM consultants.
Steering the project UCS across SAIL interacting with the SAIL level core group for Five Integrated Steel Plants of SAIL he also has the credit of Stabilizing the SAP-ERP during Sept 2009 and going Live in July 2012 on MES (Postdata MES) in BSP.
Leading the team C & IT Bhilai team as GM(C & IT), he also had the opportunity to finalize and start the implementation of the up-gradation of both hardware and SAP-ERP system of BSP.

SATISH LELE
Satish Lele is a Chemical Engineer and instructor hailing from Pune, Maharashtra, who has also authored the book “Biodiesel and Jatropha Cultivation” and has delivered lectures at various conferences across the globe.
Graduated in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institue of Technology (IIT) Bombay, with more than 30 years of experience in the field of Chemicals, he conducts classes on Piping Engineering, which are developed by himself with the purpose of helping students to be self-employed.
Some of the most important areas covered in his presentation based classes are- General piping engineering, Fluid handling, System engineering, Layout engineering, Thermal insulation, Pipe stress analysis and support, Pipe fabrication, Installation, Testing, etc.
He has taught at numerous institutions across the country such as the MAEER center at Thane, MIT Pune, VUT Pune, IFFCO Allahabad, Shivaji University Kolhapur, and on the global level at Port Gentil in Gabon, West Africa.

Atul Ashtikar is a Chemical Engineer and Business professional hailing from Mumbai, Maharashtra, who has 20 years’ experience in Process Designing, Project Management and Business Development.

Graduated in Chemical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Rajasthan, he was VP-Business Development at Libra Techcon Ltd., Sr. Manager-Process in IBI Chematur, and Sr, Manager in Rolta India Ltd.
SURYA NARAYAN
Graduate in Polymer Science Technology, with four decades of experience in Petrochemical and related fields. Worked with petroleum major’s viz. Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd (IPCL) and Reliance Industries Ltd at various capacities including top management level. Key functioning areas were
marketing, technical services, quality systems, logistics, project evaluation and management.
Contributions include development of applications for various polymers, chemicals and synthetic rubber for the first time India.
Widely travelled across India and the world and had represented the company in many International Organizations. Many papers were published in domestic and international journals. Currently associated with M/s Flexilis India Pvt. Ltd as an advisor.
